Melting ice makes life difficult for those who live on it. Just ask the Polar Bear. There are endless signs of the reality of climate change (global warming). Few more definitive than the plight of the polar bear.

Life as they once new it, is ending. And they never had the opportunity to see it coming…
What is happening to polar bear is tragic. Other Arctic animals are threatened as well - the narwhal whale and walrus among them. I’ve pictured them all in a photo gallery of Things That Won’t Be There Anymore on my EarthlingAngst blog. Got some great photos from Flickr. If you’ve never seen a narwhal, they’re bizarre.
