    Obama is thewinner

  2. Levi Novey says:

McCain got that game changer alright! Just kidding. It's over for the old geezer.

  3. S. Snaer says:

Tuesday's debate allowed Senator Obama to soar above Senator McCain's mean-spirited and tired rhetoric. Senator McCain had nothing new or insightful to offer. And, Senator McCain, it was very telling that you chose to refer so disrespectfully to Senator Obama as"that one"; you have already lost us.

  4. Nick Chambers says:

McCain looked like the grandpa of frankenstein and got creepily close to some of the questioners.

  5. Vicky says:

I watched both debates. Obama won the first, but McCain crushed Obama on this one. It was clear who had the experience, as well as the record, to show the American people that he is ready to be President today.

  6. Obama is the clear winner, he showed poise and confidence. He connected with middle America. McCain was disrespectful, made bad jokes and his campaign is clearly in a deadly spiral spin.

    ISSUES NOT COVERED!

The second presidential debate and not one word about the illegal immigration occupation of this nation. Neither Obama or McCain even mentioned the 12 to 20 million illegal aliens US taxpayers are financially supporting and drowning our economy. Neither candidate mentioned that hundreds of thousands of illegal alien families who were given mortgages, that they could not afford.

McCain said we don't need mandates, but say nothing that taxpayers are forced by mandatory laws to pay for for the children of illegal aliens education. My son feels like a stranger, in a strange land in a Los Angeles school, where all he hears is bad Spanish.

This is no longer isolated communities whose corrupt Politicians, Governors, Mayors and elected officials, who have sold America to the Special interest lobby.

Now the middle class already overburdened with war appropriation funds, is still force to pay for the education, free health-care and Federal, state welfare handouts for illegal criminals. SIGN UP FOR THE SAVE ACT(H.R.4088) enforcement 'ONLY' law at http://www.numbersusa.com.

  8. gongo says:

Obama won. McCain broke the rules constantly and wasted many minutes simply rephrasing the questions and complimenting the audience members. He said we should put medical records online. Yeah? where are his? McCain, at his best, repeated what Obama said first.

  9. Susan says:

I was undecided before…but Obama was the winner tonight.

    Integrity, class, knowledge and change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Concerned Mom says:

McCain clearly is a talker and Obama is the doer. Who wpould do a better job, the one who can bullshit talk the nation into hearning what they want to hear or the one who clearly is in touch with reality? I ma tired of hearing McCain's unprofessionalism, his mudslinging and finger pointing, considering he's older you would think he would behave better in and out of the debates. I mean c'mon he'll just be another Bush, if Americans aren't tired of other nations making this nation their laughing stock go ahead vote McCain. Do we really want another Republican in office, do we really want a maverick who's scatterbrains or someone who has a stable mind? Do you think McCain like Bush truly care about poor Americans when win or lose they get to retire comfortably while we all continue to work our butts off. Besides, we need a fresh approach and new ideas not aon old geezer who obviously does more talking and hate campaigns instead of trying to unite this nation

  11. Get Real Cocerned Mo says:

McCain full of b–s–t talk…..in and out of debates. Do we really want a clown representing this country? C'mon he's like Bush. how can anyone take him seriously (and this is not considering his runnung mate who give all smart women a bad name). If he is the best choice then how come he cannot even choose a good running mate? His strategy to play on sympathy of women backfired on him because the woman he chose for VP is as much out of touch with reality as he is.

  12. Letty Ohanya says:

They were both good but Obama was clearly the best.Obama08

  13. Kelly in Ohio says:

Yes, Sen. Obama clearly came off as the most presidential and the most level-headed.

I also agree with earlier comments that it was reprehensible how Sen. McCain referred to Obama as "that one." Disgusting! How he thinks he can get away with that kind of childish behavior and still convince the people he's presidential material, is beyond me. Really.

Also, we laughed hysterically at two points in the debate. When McCain said this:

"The truth about Obama's tax increase is, he's going to increase taxes."

    And this, from Tom Brokaw:

"And — I can't read what I'm supposed to say because you're both standing in front of it."

Cue sheepish grins from both McCain and Obama. Priceless!

  14. Ricky says:

Obama won! McCain was juts tired and old looking…and he startd to get on my nerves wehn he began to pace…of course Obama did the same thing. McCain seemed angry alot of the time, and said things from his talking points. At times, he seemed confused and off message. There wasn't a great deal of cohesion in his thinking. He seemed to snipe and nitpick, which made him less than presidential.

  15. LC says:

obama is clearly the winner! mccain speaks of experience as being key, but clearly he is hypocritical. he supports bush, and with ideas like bush, where would that lead our economy? hes also mentioned before that obama was too young to be president, but what about palin and her age? obamas ideas are clearly level headed and deeply thought out. mccain is stealing obama's ideas.

mccain spoke of victory, but what about the families who have sacrificed so much for the wars? what about the troops who come home hurt and with permanent damage?

    OBAMA 08!

  16. RAVEN says:

did anyone catch Mccains bad grammar.

IM A SENOIR IN HIGH SCHOOL AND I KNOW THAT YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO SAY DOUBLE NEGATIVE HIS FLAWS JUST SEEEM TO SHOW AS TIME PROGRESSED

  17. Ryan K says:

I thought McCain was a little shaky. he talks to the audience like a old man at a nursing home would talk to a visiting grandchild.

  18. harrison says:

i know barak won cos every things he says i say assurance and entusaim, but mccain was just trying to cover up his inabilities, if american needs a savoiur who is sure of what he will do in the next 4 years, then obama is the man.

    haryy from u.a.e

  19. Hans Nehrlich says:

I think the biased Fox News are the only source for the myth that McCain won the second debate.

Anyone seeing the two next to each other and being even of mediocre intelligence would have no hesitation in pronouncing the winner.

McCain looked at times as if he were going to fall over, it is extremely doubtful that he will last four years.

That would present us with (Royal blood) Palin, the Cariboushooter.

You have got to be kidding!

Those who do not recognise that the current clown brigade in the White House caused this mess and have no clue on what to do about it deserve McCain.

Only the rest of the world does not.

Under McCain America will turn into a has been at the level of a third world country. Being insolvent does that to you.

  20. Kristyn says:

    Obama won.

McCain has no place in the White House, and he will certainly never turn it into a "green house." When asked an environmental question in last night's debate, his ONLY answer dealt with nuclear energy; Obama, on the other hand, talked passionately about wind, solar, geo-thermal, and the need for sustainability, and he called on every American to take responsibility at home at in the office.

    Go O!

  21. nancy says:

McCain was the clear winner in this debate. Obama even began to fumble some of his words in the end and did not answer the questions directly especially when he was asked to admit something he did not know. Obama is a slick lawyer Not a man ready to lead this country. I see the liberal media already calling Obama a winner when he could not hold a candle to McCain last evening. At least McCain understands that Obama wants a socialist government run country like the old Russia. No thanks. I want to choose my doctor, the school my kids go too,and the type of healthcare I have. McCain – the clear winner. Obama – the smooth talker.

  22. Randy says:

I'd be scared for the country if McCain fell into office. Nothing would change. Obama seems intelligent, well spoken, and not afraid to go against the norm. In the situations we face today with a country torn from war, we need to make sure Obama changes our direction.

  23. Berenstein Bear says:

hi. Obama rox my sox. i thought id let u all know. He will ROCK U *smack smack clap*. Obama should win without the slightest hardship. WE NEED CHANGE. :)

  24. l williams says:

I don't think that either won. also obama does not exhibit anymore class than anyone else. a lot of these young people are naively brainwashed by his appearance and the fact that he's younger whereas in reality they really don't know much about and of course a lot of blacks like him because he's black. color should not matter but qualification should. Colin Powell would have been a more suitable candidate for me. And McCain has a solid military background.

  25. El Sid says:

It amazes me how easily americans can be fooled by a smooth talker. I will say one thing for sure, Obama is the better presenter. So what! How in your right mind can you vote for someone to run our country with 3 years of political experience? Would you select a bank who just named as their new CEO a teller with polished looks, an excellent vocabulary and 3 years of banking experience? The answer is no! Come on, don't buy into the Oprah illusion. Our country was built by people like McCain who fought for this country. What has happened in our country is that the liberal hippies of the 60's and 70's have positioned themselves in the media and politics and they only allow you to hear their version of poll results and opinions. I am sure come election day true americans will be fed up with this "CHANGE" crap and will step up and cast their vote for McCain! Remember Truman vs. Dewey!!!!!!

  26. charles says:

You wanna know who won this debate…'That One"

  27. William Yunker says:

Has anyone noticed that when John McCain gets excited he talks while his right arm is pounding its hand clinch-fisted over and over again. Not a flat hand gesture but a pounding fist! Kind of scary. Does he need to be psychologically analyzed? It appears to be very angry.

  28. Joe Mohr says:

Since it's over for McCain I can get petty. 3 issues from the debate:

    1) As nick said–he got creepily close to some audience members.

2 and 3) His wings and lizard tongue. He's a pterydactyl (sp?), he cocks his arms uncomfortably like he has wings, and worst of all, when his dirty old mouth gets dry his little lizard tongue shoots out–apparently to both whet his whistle and to scare me. Well done John.

They say last night's forum is your strength. My friend, I'd hate to see your weakness.

  29. Interesting says:

Funny how McCain is a hate monger when Obama has twice as many television ad's attacking McCain. Obama is a cultist, drink the Kool-Aid and follow him to victory, right? McCain is the only one profiting here right? Obama had such a rough time with his 4.2 million earned income especially when $361,000 of that came from Michelle's salary which happened to get a $200,000 raise after Senator Obama granted the hospital $1,000,000 in grant money. I mean who doesn't get a raise that doubles their income like that? Obama has done a lot of things and brought a lot of change, it just seems people seem to forget that he benefited from that just as much as the "poor Americans" he helped out.

He's a liberal puppet who spits out rehearsed and memorized speeches and once taken out of his comfort zone and memorized jargon and propaganda he folds.

A president's economic packages are often not felt for 8-10 years after enacted, so guess who's wrath we are living in right now? That's right you liberals bed buddy Bill Clinton. Remember the CRA he pushed through to loosen lending standards? Of course not because that doesn't suit your argument, just that the economy thrived when he was in office (living off of the Reagan and Bush I years by the way).

Please remember there is no such thing as Affirmative Action in the race for the presidency, vote based on the issues and vote for the leader. How can you be a leader with no experience? How can you be a leader if never tested in the fields of battle which you will be reigning over? If Obama wins this country will cave in a worldwind of pain and you Dems will be eating your words. Just wait until this coward Obama is back on his heels panicking when we are attacked over and over again with him at the helm, bailing on our ship. Maybe his biggot wife and influential friends will change their tune then.

  31. Janak De says:

Obama won handily with well mannered poise and erudition.

McCain was arrogant, stiff, repeating platitudes, frightningly ignorant.

  32. JohnnyScrubs says:

I dont't understand why i'm hearing that John McCain won the second debate. Was anyone paying attention? That he's a stubborn old man that does nothing but point fingers and forget what america is really about. Obama is the clear winner. And im not judging just on his ability of being a better speaker, but to me Obama has a plan to get us out of this embarrassing crisis that we are in. It's the 21st century people. The world is changing around us and we need to adapt. We need to talk to foreign countrys before we cowboy our way into another Iraq. The energy crisis is real. Why are we paying the most for gas then ever now. What was that again Palin? "Drill baby, Drill"

  33. Danielle says:

I watched the issues, and the one that strikes me, and SHOULD strike everyone EVENLY is environmental policies. What are we going to do with the way we use our energy? I disliked McCain's response that he wants to use nuclear as well as oil and I admired Obama and how he wants to do alternative energy sources. He says he is open to new ideas. I disagree with McCain that, if we pull out our troops, there will be issues.

  34. Danielle says:

Also, I think that the older you are, the more you are RESISTANT to change and do NOT want to change or develop! McCain is old, therefore, change wants not.

  35. doug resha says:

good im glad all you obama supporters are happy right now,and i hope alll of you are saying the same things in four years from now!we'll see!

  36. Janak De says:

Obama was much smarter, impressive and better informed, also more elegant, stylish, well-mannered and with a presidential gravitas. In contrast McCain was repetitious, platitudious, stiff, aged, ignorant and unpresidential in addition to being arrogant and petulant.
    Guess who won?

  37. Tabitha Another Concerned Mother says:

I am so tired of hearing that Obama Won, He did a good job both of them did! But I hate to be the one to also say that they both were unprofessional, and they both went through mudslinging and finger pointing Tuesday night! Every President raises taxes, every president promises things that are unable to do and if we find one that promises to not do as such then there will be a bridge to somewhere better; there will be the CHANGE! And honestly What did Sarah say during her last debate there was alot of questions she was unable to answer Yes, but also She stated VERY CLEARLY there is not one thing that her and Senator McCain has promised that they will not be able to finish! Obama and Biden named off 10 things they will not be able to complete! So who really knows what Obama will be able to really fulfill? At least there is something McCain is promising that he and Sarah said will not be deleted after Election! And that is that Health, Energy, and International Security will stand as the most important things to change! And all 3 will be started immediately after election!

Obama said that Energy is the most important issue right now! I understand Obama’s eye on that I have 4 members in my family 2 – under the age of 10 and then my husband and I. Only one source of income due to no jobs! My husband makes only 10 dollars and hour with hopefully 40 hour weeks, which after the taxes puts us at under 20k a year. So I know about being broke and not having enough money to even pay all the bills let alone going out to eat dinner at restaurants I can not afford and on gas I can not afford. Our family would NOT be able to supply insurance for our kids yeah it is alot cheaper then adults but I am unable to afford ANY of it. I would love to give health benefits to my family, and if I am unable to do so….Obama thinks hey there is another way to make money there….Lets taxes the ones who can’t supply insurance for their kids…How will that help anyone but him? I mean that makes me think Obama gets to retire comfortably while we all continue to work our butts off.

I come from a family who has never want to be apart of the Presidential Election I am one of the one they did not expect to vote but is going to so the CHANGE can be made! And are they trying to persuade my opinion? I Hope; but people please listen to the words and not the slurs, because everyone seems to be getting caught up in the storm and not looking at the damage the storm has done! I really feel like both parties were not meaning to point fingers but merely trying to explain what they are there standing up for and in there words what the other party was there standing up for!

I do have one question for everyone!

Would you rather your army being lead by someone who IS prepared for that situation, or someone who THINKS they are prepared for that situation?

Because no matter what we are going to go to war again after we are done in

    And

Democratic Sen. Barack Obama said at the Oct. 7 presidential debate in Nashville, Tennessee, that when Republican opponent Sen. John McCain “was cheerleading the president to go into Iraq, he suggested it was going to be quick and easy, we’d be greeted as liberators.”

McCain said, on MSNBC’s Hardball on March 24, 2003, that “there’s no doubt in my mind that once these people (the Saddam Hussein regime) are gone that then we will be welcomed as liberators.”

McCain Never Stated we’d be greeted as liberators, he said once these people (the Saddam Hussein regime) are gone that then we will be welcomed as liberators.”

So who is Twisting to WORDS??????

  38. Rebecca says:

Now, I'm noramally a Democrat, but I don't trust a thing Obama says. Isn't a Democrat supposed to be for the people? I don't believe he is. I believe that under the things he purposed in this debate that we will just go into another Great Depression. McCain clearly won this.

Obama was very disrespectful, he went over the time limits more than McCain. He interupted the moderater. And beat around the bush on a lot of questions. And the biggest thing that annoyed me was that he says gonna. We're gonna this, we're gonna that. It's GOING TOO.

  39. Janak De says:

Obama won handily displaying well-mannered poise and sounded presidential and erudite.

In contrast, McCain seemed stiff, old and arrogant, with repetitous cliches and frighteningly ignorant of the changing world. His repeated mantras about American exceptionalism were not only insulted the intelligence of informed Americans but also the feelings of non-Americans.

  40. Janak De says:

Obama was suave, well-mannered, erudite and excuded presidential gravitas.

McCain seemed stiff, old, arrogant, frigteningly ignorant, substituting repetitious slogans about American virtues that not only insulted the intelligence of informed people but also the feelings of non-Americans.

  41. Joe Daily says:

Obama won by a landslide, by the way; Vicky what debate were you watching??

  42. Brad says:

Listen, MacCain is clearly the one we need. He by far won last night sitting Obama back in his seat. Obama was caught changing his opinion on things and just showing his lack of leadership and ability to run our country.

    MACCAIN 08!!!!!

  43. Brad says:

Listen, MacCain by far won last night. HOW CAN WE HAVE OBAMA AS OUR PRESIDENT? he a Socilist undercover. He constantly changes he views and has a health care plan that will send us nowhere. He has spent more money on his own campaign than anyone in history!@@@@. I cant imagine how much he will spend if he gits into the white house.

    MacCain 08!

  44. Sherrie says:

I HOPE BARAK OBAMA DOESN'T TREAT THE NATIONAL BUDGET LIKE HE HAS HIS ELECTION CAMPAIGN! HE HAS GARNISHED MORE MONEY FOR HIS POSSIBLE ELECTION THAN ANY OTHER CANDIDATE? WHEN DOES THE PORK STOP IN THIS COUNTRY? PEOPLE ARE JOBLESS, STARVING AND THE CANDIDATE EVERYONE LIKES THE MOST COULD HAVE FED HOW MANY HUNGRY PEOPLE WITH THAT KIND OF MONEY? IT IS JUST DISGUSTING! HE WILL TREAT THE US GOVT LIKE AN OPEN CHECKBOOK. WHY DOESN'T HE JUST CALL HIMSELF ROBINHOOD.. CAUSE ALL HE THINKS HE'S GONNA DO IS TAKE FROM THE RICH (WHO GIVE THE JOBS) AND GIVE IT ALL TO THE POOR. HE WILL DESTROY BUSINESS AND GIVE MORE ENTITLEMENTS THAN ANY PRESIDENT IN US HISTORY! AND BY THE WAY YOU CAN THANK OUR DEMOCRATIC MAJORITY FOR THE PROBLEMS OF THE LAST 2 YRS.. SEE WHAT THEY DO WHEN THEY GET POWER!

  45. AliceC. says:

Definately McCain. I really have to say that most people are voting for Obama because he is black. I like black people, so don’t say anything, if there was a decent african american running for president I would vote for him/her. There were people who were for McCain but pretended to be for Obama and did some speeches infront of huge crowds of african americans who supported Obama. Afterwards, they interveiwed these same people. They asked them questions like:
“How to you feel about Obama being against abortion?”
    and
“How do you feel about Sarah Palin being Obama’s running mate?”
We all know that Obama is pro abortion and that Sarah Palin is not his running mate. But what did those people answer to those questions? “Oh! That’s great!” Which proves they are most definately only voting for him because he is african american. My opinion though.
