Presidential Debate: John McCain vs. Barack Obama – Who Won? [Poll]
[Editor's Note: On the heels of our first RG&B debate poll conducted to gauge public opinion on the first and only vice-presidential debate, we've decided to follow up with a poll for the top of the ticket.]

McCain full of b–s–t talk…..in and out of debates. Do we really want a clown representing this country? C’mon he’s like Bush. how can anyone take him seriously (and this is not considering his runnung mate who give all smart women a bad name). If he is the best choice then how come he cannot even choose a good running mate? His strategy to play on sympathy of women backfired on him because the woman he chose for VP is as much out of touch with reality as he is.
They were both good but Obama was clearly the best.Obama08
Yes, Sen. Obama clearly came off as the most presidential and the most level-headed.
I also agree with earlier comments that it was reprehensible how Sen. McCain referred to Obama as “that one.” Disgusting! How he thinks he can get away with that kind of childish behavior and still convince the people he’s presidential material, is beyond me. Really.
Also, we laughed hysterically at two points in the debate. When McCain said this:
“The truth about Obama’s tax increase is, he’s going to increase taxes.”
And this, from Tom Brokaw:
“And — I can’t read what I’m supposed to say because you’re both standing in front of it.”
Cue sheepish grins from both McCain and Obama. Priceless!
Obama won! McCain was juts tired and old looking…and he startd to get on my nerves wehn he began to pace…of course Obama did the same thing. McCain seemed angry alot of the time, and said things from his talking points. At times, he seemed confused and off message. There wasn’t a great deal of cohesion in his thinking. He seemed to snipe and nitpick, which made him less than presidential.
obama is clearly the winner! mccain speaks of experience as being key, but clearly he is hypocritical. he supports bush, and with ideas like bush, where would that lead our economy? hes also mentioned before that obama was too young to be president, but what about palin and her age? obamas ideas are clearly level headed and deeply thought out. mccain is stealing obama’s ideas.
mccain spoke of victory, but what about the families who have sacrificed so much for the wars? what about the troops who come home hurt and with permanent damage?
OBAMA 08!
did anyone catch Mccains bad grammar.
IM A SENOIR IN HIGH SCHOOL AND I KNOW THAT YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO SAY DOUBLE NEGATIVE HIS FLAWS JUST SEEEM TO SHOW AS TIME PROGRESSED
I thought McCain was a little shaky. he talks to the audience like a old man at a nursing home would talk to a visiting grandchild.
i know barak won cos every things he says i say assurance and entusaim, but mccain was just trying to cover up his inabilities, if american needs a savoiur who is sure of what he will do in the next 4 years, then obama is the man.
haryy from u.a.e
I think the biased Fox News are the only source for the myth that McCain won the second debate.
Anyone seeing the two next to each other and being even of mediocre intelligence would have no hesitation in pronouncing the winner.
McCain looked at times as if he were going to fall over, it is extremely doubtful that he will last four years.
That would present us with (Royal blood) Palin, the Cariboushooter.
You have got to be kidding!
Those who do not recognise that the current clown brigade in the White House caused this mess and have no clue on what to do about it deserve McCain.
Only the rest of the world does not.
Under McCain America will turn into a has been at the level of a third world country. Being insolvent does that to you.
Obama won.
McCain has no place in the White House, and he will certainly never turn it into a “green house.” When asked an environmental question in last night’s debate, his ONLY answer dealt with nuclear energy; Obama, on the other hand, talked passionately about wind, solar, geo-thermal, and the need for sustainability, and he called on every American to take responsibility at home at in the office.
Go O!
