Presidential Debate: John McCain vs. Barack Obama - Who Won? [Poll]

John McCain and Barack Obama squared off in the second of three Presidential Debates this election season. Tell us who won and why?

McCain was the clear winner in this debate. Obama even began to fumble some of his words in the end and did not answer the questions directly especially when he was asked to admit something he did not know. Obama is a slick lawyer Not a man ready to lead this country. I see the liberal media already calling Obama a winner when he could not hold a candle to McCain last evening. At least McCain understands that Obama wants a socialist government run country like the old Russia. No thanks. I want to choose my doctor, the school my kids go too,and the type of healthcare I have. McCain - the clear winner. Obama - the smooth talker.
I’d be scared for the country if McCain fell into office. Nothing would change. Obama seems intelligent, well spoken, and not afraid to go against the norm. In the situations we face today with a country torn from war, we need to make sure Obama changes our direction.

I don’t think that either won. also obama does not exhibit anymore class than anyone else. a lot of these young people are naively brainwashed by his appearance and the fact that he’s younger whereas in reality they really don’t know much about and of course a lot of blacks like him because he’s black. color should not matter but qualification should. Colin Powell would have been a more suitable candidate for me. And McCain has a solid military background.
It amazes me how easily americans can be fooled by a smooth talker. I will say one thing for sure, Obama is the better presenter. So what! How in your right mind can you vote for someone to run our country with 3 years of political experience? Would you select a bank who just named as their new CEO a teller with polished looks, an excellent vocabulary and 3 years of banking experience? The answer is no! Come on, don’t buy into the Oprah illusion. Our country was built by people like McCain who fought for this country. What has happened in our country is that the liberal hippies of the 60’s and 70’s have positioned themselves in the media and politics and they only allow you to hear their version of poll results and opinions. I am sure come election day true americans will be fed up with this “CHANGE” crap and will step up and cast their vote for McCain! Remember Truman vs. Dewey!!!!!!

Has anyone noticed that when John McCain gets excited he talks while his right arm is pounding its hand clinch-fisted over and over again. Not a flat hand gesture but a pounding fist! Kind of scary. Does he need to be psychologically analyzed? It appears to be very angry.
Since it’s over for McCain I can get petty. 3 issues from the debate:
1) As nick said–he got creepily close to some audience members.
2 and 3) His wings and lizard tongue. He’s a pterydactyl (sp?), he cocks his arms uncomfortably like he has wings, and worst of all, when his dirty old mouth gets dry his little lizard tongue shoots out–apparently to both whet his whistle and to scare me. Well done John.
They say last night’s forum is your strength. My friend, I’d hate to see your weakness.
Funny how McCain is a hate monger when Obama has twice as many television ad’s attacking McCain. Obama is a cultist, drink the Kool-Aid and follow him to victory, right? McCain is the only one profiting here right? Obama had such a rough time with his 4.2 million earned income especially when $361,000 of that came from Michelle’s salary which happened to get a $200,000 raise after Senator Obama granted the hospital $1,000,000 in grant money. I mean who doesn’t get a raise that doubles their income like that? Obama has done a lot of things and brought a lot of change, it just seems people seem to forget that he benefited from that just as much as the “poor Americans” he helped out.
He’s a liberal puppet who spits out rehearsed and memorized speeches and once taken out of his comfort zone and memorized jargon and propaganda he folds.
A president’s economic packages are often not felt for 8-10 years after enacted, so guess who’s wrath we are living in right now? That’s right you liberals bed buddy Bill Clinton. Remember the CRA he pushed through to loosen lending standards? Of course not because that doesn’t suit your argument, just that the economy thrived when he was in office (living off of the Reagan and Bush I years by the way).
Please remember there is no such thing as Affirmative Action in the race for the presidency, vote based on the issues and vote for the leader. How can you be a leader with no experience? How can you be a leader if never tested in the fields of battle which you will be reigning over? If Obama wins this country will cave in a worldwind of pain and you Dems will be eating your words. Just wait until this coward Obama is back on his heels panicking when we are attacked over and over again with him at the helm, bailing on our ship. Maybe his biggot wife and influential friends will change their tune then.
