The EPA requires someone who can parse the science, political and economic 'scape. From appearances RFK Jr is not the one. I know not of the others floated in the list of potential EPA heads.

One name not mentioned on the list:

Rocky Anderson, former mayor of Salt Lake City. Knows a ton about environmental issues, and local implementation.

But maybe he's more in line for a deputy position in EPA or interior.
