I have woodland, that has a river running through it, in Devon. If I was to find damage to our trees by beavers I would be ecstatic and would spend the rest of my time hiding out trying to spot the Beaver. To be frank, the trees of our wood are not 'ours'as such, they don't belong to anybody. They play a part within an ecosystem and support the lives of countless beings - Beavers, now, being one. Admittedly, if we were to lose many of our Oaks I would worry, but it would be because of the imbalance in the eco system not the sole fault of the Beaver. Steps would have to be taken of course, but not to the detriment of the animal. hen x Great post!
