Coal Lobby Co-Opts Obama Message in New Ad

You don’t see commercials for biotech companies that do stem-cell research do it. You’re not seeing wind turbine manufacturers buying ad-time and doing it. So why is it that the “clean coal” industry group running primetime television commercials taking soundbites and snippets from what Pres. Obama has said about coal. Yes, during his campaign, Mr. Obama did say he would look for ways to burn coal cleanly, but the key here is  that the coal lobby wants you to think that such technology already exists – and it most certainly does not.

    a very nice child molestor…..clean coal is an oxymoron , Wind Power is the solution here today and clean and cost efficient

    I'm guessing that what Obama meant in that speech by the 5 million new jobs was in ALL renewable technology fields, not clean coal. These coal folks have a way of distorting words. You should see some of the BS they twitter about! http://twitter.com/AmericasPower

    Clean coal technology does exsist. Just wait a few months and you will all see. What Obama said about jobs is true….the solution is in and the time is right….just wait and see…
