Al Gore Senate Testimony on Global Warming [video]

Al Gore testifies before Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Tuesday, January 28, 2009. Gore said that the key elements for a successful agreement in Copenhagen include strong targets and timetables from industrialized countries and differentiated but binding commitments from developing countries to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide and other global warming pollution, the inclusion of deforestation, the addition of carbon syncs, the assurance that developing companies that will have mechanisms to help them adapt to climate change, and finally, a strong compliance and verification regime.
