The bill has been widely criticized as toothless by both left and right...and I think we can all agree that the last thing American business (yikes, did I just say that?) needs is another set of labyrinthine, bureaucratic restrictions that in the end accomplish little. I'm not big business apologist...I'm just not sure this bill would be setting the right tone... As somebody deeply concerned about global climate change, I have to agree on some level with these opponents of the Waxman-Markey bill.
