New White House comm director Scarmucci is a climate change believer
This is encouraging. Here’s what new White House communications director Anthony Scarmucci has to say (or rather, Tweet) about climate change:
You can take steps to combat climate change without crippling the economy. The fact many people still believe CC is a hoax is disheartening

Of course, the final decisions are made by the denier-in-chief. Word is that most of his staff (and family) wanted him to keep the US in the Paris Climate Agreement, but he was too set on busting up the Obama legacy.
Still, it’s good to have a major voice inside the admin communications shop who believes that climate denial is a problem.
No matter your view on climate science, we can take common sense steps that spur econ growth & US energy security w/out harming environment

1) Many people deny climate is changing 2) Pursuing renewable energy also has positive nat'l security implications https://t.co/dtos0EdlMK

No, but I've done that with a dozen tweets. Not a climate change denier. Not a young-earther. A pragmatist who wants market-driven solutions https://t.co/43CifmxfP9

It’s also possible that once inside the Trump White House, the strange factual flu will set in, and he’ll be as nonsensical as everyone else in there has gotten. But maybe he’ll let his real feelings be heard in private… and word is that Trump respects and listens to him.
