Australian Labor’s Peter Garrett has transitioned quite smoothly from his former role as frontman of an iconic rock band to his current position as Australia’s Minister for Environment, Heritage, and the Arts. Garrett and Australian Labor made a short video for the 2007 Australian federal election that was half energy policy outline and half tips for home energy-saving. Garrett even suggests some good 4-minute songs you can time your shower to.

Chalk up another point for Australians in the cool category.
