“What are we supposed to do now? How are we supposed to make climate change an important topic of conversation when the only thing that’s been dominating the news cycle is the coronavirus pandemic?”  saysAzalea, national communications director for Extinction Rebellion. “This pandemic is receiving so much more attention than climate change ever has. What we’re seeing right now with Covid-19 is millions of people doing everything that they can to suspend their normal daily activities for the greater good. And that’s exactly what has to happen for the climate crisis.
