After Japan quake, new questions about nuclear power
While the folks who run the nuclear industry have long argued the odds are long of a disaster ever happening… those numbers came up over the weekend. And while US power plants like California’s Diablo Canyon are rated to stand up to earthquakes as high as 7.5… quakes happen, and sometimes they’re big quakes.
